These terms and conditions ("the Terms") apply to the web site www.cakeinn.co.uk ("cake inn " and "We" and "Us “and “our”) (the "Sites"). Please read these Terms carefully

Other than this, no other person or company shall be a third party beneficiary of the Terms or any rights pursuant to the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 (the "Act. General

In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods. To ensure that your credit, debit, charge card or PayPal account is not being used without your consent, we will validate name, address and other personal information supplied by you during the order process against appropriate third party databases. By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to such checks being made. In performing these checks personal information provided by you may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of that information. You can rest assured that this is done only to confirm your identity, that a credit check is not performed and that your credit rating will be unaffected. All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in accordance with relevant data protection laws.

Online price errors. If we discover an error in the price of goods ordered or reserved, we will inform you as soon as possible (e.g. prior to the goods being despatched or in store prior to the collection of the goods). We will provide you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you choose to cancel and have already paid for the goods you will receive a full refund.

If  you reserve a product and the price changes (due to normal fluctuations e.g. goods going into or coming out of promotion, but not a pricing error) before you collect the item, you may request to pay the lowest of i) the price on reservation or ii) the prevailing price in store at the time of collection. This will also apply if your reservation is extended but not if the reservation collection window has expired.

Proof of reservation would include: -

If, in our opinion, any person or persons, whether acting on behalf of themselves or a business, engages in practices that call into question the fair use of the check and reserve system, we reserve the right to cancel reservations and / or to restrict / block access to the check and reserve system for that person or persons. Examples of such activity may include placing significant numbers of reservations where the goods are not subsequently collected, placing significant numbers of reservations for the same product without them being subsequently collected and the selling of reservation confirmations. This list is not exhaustive.

All prices are shown in £s sterling and does not include VAT or any other tax

the price of products can be changed more than once. By 'original price' we mean the original price displayed online on cakeinn.co.uk or in the most recent, printed version of the full cake inn leaflets  (where the product was featured).


Returns and cancelation

In line with our returns policy, any products you return will need to be unopened, unused and in their original packaging, with proof of purchase.

When returning an item, make sure you have proof of purchase, such as your store receipt or confirmation email. The item (and any free items that came with the product) will also need to be:

Refunds will be processed by the original payment method. If you paid on card, it can take up to 7 days to appear back in your account. PayPal refunds can take up to 30 days

Please note cake all cake order are made within 24 hours of collection time it is possible if you cancelling order within 24 hours of the collection time shop may not be able to cancel your order no refund will be given

Remember cancellations within 24 hours of collection time.

Uncollected cakes for any reason.

For health and safety all uncollected cake will be disposed within 24 hours and cake inn will not take responsibility you must collect cake on agreed time 

Picture cakes and all personalized text:

Please note picture you sand us it should be large enough for us to print on your chosen cake small picture may not provide good quality picture on cake

The personalized message should be clear and not offensive to any one or any swear in any other language we will not process any order that not clear or make sense

All file sand should be in JPEG we do not accept PDF or any other format

If u want more than one picture u can do but u have to edit and put both picture together and sand us


The cake decorators  may crop away “uninteresting” areas of the picture, unless you specify otherwise.

Placement of the picture and the hand written message will be at the discretion of the cake decorator.

We do  use the latest printers in all our shop but still  we cannot guarantee print colors will match or will be high quality all depend on image You sand us .

You take complete responsibility for the use of the image(s) your provide cake inn store  and  indemnify us against any claims for infringement of copyright and for obtaining permission from persons for the use of their images cake inn will not be responsible .

Images on edible paper start to melt with. Picture cakes should be collected on agreed time and consume same day cake inn store will not accept any responsibility if you do not collect cake on agreed time .

Check and make sure 

When collecting your cake you must check your design colour, shape, size and the spelling of the message on the cake. Mistakes can’t be rectified after leaving the shop.

 Taking care of your cake

 Cake inn will not accept any responsibility once you have left the shop. Please carry your cake

Responsibly and store in the fridge between 2c to 7c. You must also consume within 24 hours.

Cancellation or Return of Made-to-order products:

In the event of a return, refund or exchange of any non cancellable order purchased by our website we ask you to contact you local store directly  using order number but keep in mind all our cakes made to order personalised or any cake must be collect on time as the appear on order receipt. Preparation of your order start as early as 24 hours before collection please if you try to cancel you order within 24 hours of collection or delivery time we might not be able to cancel your order or uncollected cakes for any reason No refund will be issue. for cake shelf life reason uncollected cake will be destroyed after 24 hours of collection time.

 NON EDIBLE DECORATION ON CAKES:

The figures that are used on our cakes is for decoration only and not a edible toy. Please remove them carefully and keep out of reach of small children. Small parts may cause a choking hazard. Please retain all information for future reference.

 CANDLE WARNING:

To prevent fire and serious injury, burn candle within sight. Keep away from drafts and vibrations. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Candles do drip wax. Never leave burning candle unattended. Use under adult supervision only. Do not move burning candle when lit. Not suitable for hand-held use. Ensure candles are fully extinguished before disposal. Certain candles not for sale to persons under 16 years.

Gift Cards purchased in an cake inn store must be activated before use, this will be done by the colleague at the till at the point of payment.

 Gift Cards can be purchased within other retailers authorized to sell cake inn Gift Cards, these Gift Cards would adhere to the same terms and conditions as detailed below.

 Gift Cards or eGift Cards issued via any loyalty, reward or benefits programmed would also adhere to the same below details terms and conditions.

 Gift Cards purchased within cake inn stores can be loaded with any amount from £1 to £500. Other Gift Cards or eGift Cards will be issued detailing a balance. If no balance is provided or the balance is unknown, please use the online balance checker within the My Account section of the website to verify the balance.

 GBP £ Gift Cards or eGift Cards can be used in full or part payment for goods in any UK cake inn store or online at cakeinn.co.uk, including current promotional offers, at the prevailing prices listed.

 Gift Cards cannot be used for purchases made over the phone.

 To use Gift Cards or eGift Cards in-store simply present your card to the cashier at the till.

To use your Gift Card online, input the card number and PIN at the payment stage of your order. The number of Gift Cards or eGift Cards you can use in a single transaction for online purchases is limited to 3. If you have more that 3 Gift Cards or eGift Cards and would like to use them in a single transaction you may do this in-store.

When spending online the value of your purchase will be deducted from the value of the Gift Card or eGift Card. The number of Gift Cards or eGift Cards you can use in a single transaction for online purchases is limited to 3. If you have more that 3 Gift Cards or eGift Cards and would like to use them in a single transaction you may do this in-store.

 If you do not spend the entire balance of a plastic Gift Card or eGift Cards in-store, the remaining balance will be available on the same Card/eGift Card after each transaction.

If you do not spend the entire balance of a cardboard Gift Card in-store, your remaining balance will be issued to a new Gift Card, and the old card will have no further monetary value. Online the remaining balance will be available on the same card after each transaction.

 Gift Cards or eGift Cards cannot be used for the purchase of other gift cards or vouchers.

 EURO € Gift Card cannot be redeemed in UK.

 Gift Cards or eGift Cards are not a credit, debit or cheque guarantee cards, cannot be redeemed for cash or returned under the cake inn 30 Day Guarantee and cannot be sold or re-tendered. This will not affect your statutory rights.

All Gift Cards or eGift Cards hold an expiry date, please refer to the back of your card or details on your eGift Card for further information. If this is not detailed, please use the online balance and expiry date checker in the My Account section of the website.

If any product purchased with a Gift Card or eGift Card is subsequently exchanged for product of a lower price or a refund, any money owing will be added to a new Gift Card or eGift Card.

eggfree cake inn  Ltd reserve the right to decline or withdraw Gift Cards or eGift Cards, and the right to amend these terms and conditions of Gift Card at any time and to take appropriate action, including the cancellation of the Gift Card, if, in its discretion, it deems such action necessary.

Gift Cards or eGift Cards must be treated like cash, eggfree cake inn Ltd cannot be held liable for lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards and they will not be replaced.

Cake Inn product discretion:

All our cakes have a Free handwritten personalised message, up to 35 characters (that's including space and other letters).

Cake Inn eggless Victoria Style sponge cake is layered with Mixed fruit spread and fresh cream filling. Fruits that are freshly handpicked.

Cake Inn eggless chocolate Style sponge cake is layered with Milk chocolate spread and fresh cream filling.

All our cakes are hand piped with fresh cream.

An excellent choice for kids birthdays and all occasions.

Edible photo is used on our photo cakes.

Colour cream may taste bitter and stain.

Our Cake toppers are not a edible toys, they are just decoration figures. Our cake toppers are not suitable for kids under five years as this may cause a choking hazard, please remove carefully before serving the cake, then dispose of responsibly.

Victoria and chocolate sponge cake are filled with Fresh cream and sweetened cream decoration.

All cake size's, colours and designs may vary depending on your choice.

Not every cake is available for ''click and collect'' one hour; some cakes will require 1 to 2 days' notice. All wedding cakes require seven days notice, for more info ring your local branch.

All cakes are subject to availability. 

Contact your collecting branch before placing your order if you have any questions.

Serving numbers are a approximate guideline by Cake Inn; actual portion numbers will vary according to how the cake is sliced.

ALL cake's, barfi, and other products should be consumed within 24 hours and stored in the fridge or a dry place.

All Cake Inn products should be transported carefully use the correct method to prevent loss and damage. Cake inn will not be held any responsibility if cake's get damaged during the transportation by customers.

The Delivery drivers will attempt to deliver your Order within the given time slot.  However, due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic, if we are unable to do so, we will attempt to update you by Calling you on the number you have provided us.

Arriving at your address, The Delivery driver will attempt to knock The door Or Ring the Bell. If there is No Answer he/she will then call you on the phone if there is no response. Then he/she will return your order to Our Store. It will be your responsibility to contact us to arrange redelivery or collect your Order from Our Store. The redelivery will be charged at our standard delivery rate. But Collection is Free of charge. We will not refund the cost of the delivery. 

If You miss the Order day and want a refund or new cake(s) for the next day we will have to charge you.

If you live in a building or flat we will ask your assistance to come downstairs to meet the driver at the main entrance.

 At the Arrival of your order we strongly ask you to visually check your cake More importantly the message on your cake if it is right and there is no damage to the cake. Any damage to the cake Must be reported immediately and please take photographic evidence to solve the problem quicker and report the matter to the driver and refuse the delivery. If you accept the delivery and the driver has left its hard for us to investigate any matter. Please do accept our apologies we rely on third party companies delivery drivers to deliver your cakes. Its our responsibility to fulfil your order on time but it may not be 100%  in perfect Condition and be Ready to overlook slight damages. However, if your cake is badly damaged, and you are not happy then Please take  photos evidence and return the cake with driver to the store so a refund can be Issued. Any issue with your order Missing items on delivery damaged items' or cake or changed date' time and day  contact your local store for assistance. Delivery is available from 2 hours of the order, please state delivery slot at checkout must leave correct contact number for our driver to contact you .

Delivery slots are: 11:00-13:00 / 13:00-15:00 / 15:00-17:00 / 17:00-19:00

Payment is always required in advance, we do not accept cash at the door.
